Period house projects come in all shapes and sizes.  But one thing that ties them together is the need for beautiful original features inside and out.  Over the years much of this has been stripped away and one of my favourite roles in a project is to bring them back.

The way we live today is vastly different from the way we lived when our ancient houses were originally built, not least because of the impact modern technology. A great project creates a house that is on the one hand refined and ready for 21st century life, whilst on the other feels layered with history and is intensely personal to you.  This invariably involves hunting for lost treasure – with independent suppliers, in the yards and online.  Where necessary we have it restored and ultimately install it in the perfect spot, bringing a period house back to life.
